What does this mean from Microsoft?

As of April 8, 2014 Microsoft will end support for Windows XP SP3 and Office 2003. As stated in their "Support Lifecycle Policy" they will provide support for a minimum of 10 years after each product is released. After April 8, 2014 Microsoft will no longer do security updates, non-security hotfixes, and they will no longer offer support. This means that your system will be vulnerable to security risks.

What does this mean?

Windows XP SP3 and Office 2003 being retired means that there will be security compliance limitations and extremely limited support options if you are still running these programs.

What should I do?

If you are still running Windows XP SP3 and/or Office 2003 you need to upgrade to Windows 7 Professional or Windows 8 Pro to ensure that you are going to have a secure system and get support for office and windows.
