Meet Our Team

Shawn Walsh (President)

Shawn started Paradigm Computer Consulting in 1994, but he's not your usual IT guy.

Most IT guys haven't been a Detective Sergeant for a police department or taught computer crime investigation. Most IT guys haven't been one of the first pioneers in the state of New Hampshire involved in computer forensics.

But Shawn has. He's worked for the Milford Police Department as Detective Sergeant in charge of the Detective Division. He also managed their IT department, and implemented their first computerized records management system.

If you know Shawn, you know that he's a teacher on many levels. At the NH Police Academy, he taught computer crime investigation to other officers. At Franklin Pierce College he has taught Computer Science classes as an adjunct faculty member.Today he helps clients create secure & productive working environments, while safeguarding their IT issues.

Today Paradigm Computer Consulting continues helping small businesses with their IT technical needs. Many small business owners would tell you that having Shawn in their corner helps them rest assured that their business IT issues are well taken care of.

Shawn has a B.S. from Franklin Peirce College with a Major in Management and a Minor in Information Systems. He is a Microsoft Certified Small Business Specialist.

Shawn is married and a father of 3. When he's not working, he loves coaching his sons hockey team, riding and working on motorcycles, boating, skiing and golfing.

Tom E. Mitchell (Chief Operations Officer / Senior Systems Engineer)

Tom Mitchell returned to Paradigm Computer Consulting in 2011 as a strategic addition to our senior IT team. Tom brings to us over 15 years of IT experience.

He also possesses some amazing technology insights and skills gained from 8 years serving in the US Navy, 6 as an Electronic Technician aboard submarines. Mr. Mitchell’s recent professional accomplishments include 4 years of IT Audits with a “1” rating at one of the top commercial banks chartered in New Hampshire.

Shedding the “IT Geek” stereotype, Tom earned the reputation of being a “Mustang” in the Navy and he’s quite a storyteller to boot. Working “inside the box” is not an option with Tom unless the solution is clearly there.

Creativity in problem solving and a passion for achieving IT System harmony are the chief drivers that motivate Tom in his daily work. He applies his definition of happiness to helping our clients succeed in their businesses.

“Everything running smooth, everyone calm and getting along with minimal conflict…” When our clients achieve a smooth running operation throughout their entire IT Infrastructure, Tom knows we’re getting the job done.

Peter Jones (Senior Systems Engineer)

Peter has nearly 20 years of experience that give him the unique skills needed to serve Paradigm clients. He supports customers with unparalleled service and expertise.

As a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Peter is an expert at designing and implementing infrastructures for business solutions based on the Microsoft Windows 2000 platform and Windows Server System.

Prior to joining Paradigm, Peter had seven years of experience in Support & Network Operations for 2 powerhouse Internet Service Providers, MindSpring & Earthlink. At these two large ISP’s, he worked his way up the corporate ladder, from answering Support phones, to Managing the Support Team. He created and managed the group responsible for reporting outages and account escalations.

Peter also provides technical support for Intuit, Quicken and IBM through outsourcing channels.

He has a BS in Industrial Economics from Union College in New York and his interests are guitar, legos, race cars and ice hockey (not necessarily in that order).

Staci Walsh (Vice President / Human Resources)

Staci is one of the owners of Paradigm, she never thought a degree in early childhood education and many years of teaching pre school would help her so much with keeping a bunch of IT employees in line.

Staci’s daily tasks include doing the day-to-day accounting for Paradigm and managing the human resources aspect of the company.

When Staci is not working or being a taxi driver to her three children she enjoys biking, skiing, boating, reading, and riding her motorcycle.

Virginia Greathouse *Ginny* (Controller)

Ginny is the most recent addition to the Paradigm team. She takes on the role as a controller with a B.A. in Finance and Economics from Southern New Hampshire University. Throughout her career she has served in various management positions with companies of all sizes in the U.S. and Canada.
At one point in her career Ginny was the owner of a business that was one of Paradigm’s first client’s.  Ginny’s perspectives as both a business owner and a Paradigm client will be strengths going forward because she has experienced first-hand Paradigm’s commitment to keeping her own company secure and online, all the time.
When Ginny is not at work she is most happy being outside. Inside or outside she loves to spend time with her family or read a good book!
